Game Day Outfit - Golden Knights v. Avalanche - 3/24/18
This game is one of the most memorable ones all year thus far. It was a huge game for the Avs to win heading towards the post season. Plus, they went into OT, then into a shoot out. The environment at Pepsi Center was electric!! Perhaps it was a small preview of what playoffs will feel like??
The game night outfit was not quite as electric as the game despite the fluorescent pink accents on my heels (funny story about these heels below).
H&M Lace Dress
Business in the front, party in the back...that's a thing right??
That's exactly what I thought when I saw this dress. It's very professional and conservative in the front but has a cute little open back lace accent. I've had this dress for quite some time and I love that H&M dresses are made well to last for years!!
It's tricky to see in photos, but I paired this with a hot pink bandeau top to help pull together the heels with the outfit. I love throwing in a pop of color to a dark outfit (i.e. this navy dress). You can only see a hint of the bandeau top in the back, but I like the smaller accents when you're using bright colors with the darker ones.
Bandeau Top
Truth be told, the bandeau I wore with this outfit was from T.J. Maxx. Since it's impossible to find anything twice from there, I decided to feature my favorite place to shop for intimates like this one.
Two words. Free. People.
If you follow any bloggers on Instagram, you've surely seen their
on almost everyone! I have 3 colors of this bralette and am planning to buy a few more within the next 24 hours, honestly. They're perfect under any top or dress that reveals a little more than what you'd like with just a bra on. They also have a few different lace bandeau options as well, much like the one I wore during this game.

Bershka Heels (Favorite Barcelona Find)
Once upon a time, I was a Denver Nuggets Dancer. During this time, I was incredibly fortunate to travel all over the world with them. One of my favorite trips included a short weekend in Italy then a week in Barcelona, Spain.
IT. WAS. INCREDIBLE.
Even saying that is an understatement. During our week off in Barcelona between performances, we did some serious shopping damage. One of the stores we wandered into was
. Think a mix of Zara and H&M with a pop of Forever 21. I found this pair of tan heels with fluorescent pink accents in a size 7...I'm a 7.5. So I pulled an ugly step-sister and shoved my big feet into the size 7. Needless to say, 6 years later, I'm still rockin' the Bershka heels.
I always say it's important to feel comfortable in your heels. I still believe this to be true. However, there are exceptions to every rule right? Just make sure you can still walk okay in them without looking like a joint-less Barbie doll deal?!
