With the longest homestead of the Avalanche season so far, my game night outfit posts have gotten a little delayed BUT here’s the first of 3 new ones coming at you over the next few days!

Do you ever need outfit inspiration and don’t know exactly where to look? Try one of these options:

  • Pinterest: Type in an article of clothing you want to plan your outfit around. (i.e. leather jacket outfit, or black blazer winter look) This should populate with a ton of options you can gain inspiration from.

  • Instagram: It’s so easy to get sucked into the world of instagram bloggers. But, if you have a few instagram profiles whose style is up your alley, check out their pages. You can always search a hashtag item as well like the above Pinterest search terms.

  • LikeToKnow. It & ShopStyle: This serves as a great app if you want to purchase items that a blogger is posting about. You can follow certain profiles on this app and shop their looks!

This outfit came straight from Pinterest. I’m not going to lie, it looked better on the model, but I did my best and it turned out ok. It’s a layered black & grey look which felt fitting on a Monday night game.

Leather Skirt

I do not wear skirts very often, my body has a shape that doesn’t always look the most flattering in skirts. I purchased this one from Forever 21 not too long ago. The quilted print gave it a little more character than a regular leather skirt and also complimented my body a little more.

Soft Grey Tee

I have WAY too many grey v-necks in my wardrobe. I loveeee grey shirts and love a good v-neck.

Long Fitted Blazer

I’ve worn this one before, I hate blazers that have shoulder pads in them. This longer black fitted one is perfect for practically any outfit! I think everyone should have at least one blazer in their wardrobe. Preferably one without shoulder pads like this one! It’s also a tapered fit which is more flattering on most women.

OTK Black Boots

These have appeared on the blog before. Much like the blazer, I think everyone should have a good pair of over the knee boots in their wardrobe. They’re great for Winter looks and also keep your legs warm in a smaller dress/skirt option like this outfit!

Jewels

I borrowed this sweet gold coin necklace out of our pre-owned gold jewelry at Hurdle’s Jewelry! The gold coin look is quite popular right now with layered options. I love layering a bunch of gold necklaces together along with a larger circle one like this.

  • FYI: Do you have jewelry that you don’t wear anymore?? Stop by Hurdle’s Jewelry and we’ll provide you a price to cash out on it!
