Game Night Outfit - Wild v. Avs. - 1/23/19
Traffic is the proud sponsor of this game night outfit. I didn’t have time to go home and get another outfit for this game so I was stuck in the outfit I wore to work, and you know what?! I’m not mad about it, it turned out to be a little more casual than most of my game night outfits, but I like throwing that in the mix from time to time. Thoughts?? I love getting your feedback, so please let me know if you have a preference of the casual versus more fancy style for game nights.
Spanx
Funny story, my credit card got stolen around the holiday season. I had to go into the bank and verify a bunch of purchases. Mixed into those fraudulent purchases was my legging purchase from Spanx. You can imagine the humor behind me making sure that the Spanx charge would go through successfully while the others were fraud.
Thank goodness it went through because these leggings are LIFE. Yes, they’re a little more expensive, but SO WORTH THE INVESTMENT!! Shop them below, you won’t regret it!!
Black V Neck
Basics are necessary in your wardrobe. V-neck tees and tanks should be one of those basics. I have them in every color and highly recommend investing in some. Make sure the cut of the tee or tank is flattering on you, I like when the V is a little deeper and shows off a lacy bra (like the Adella from Free People - I also have those in every color too).
Acid Wash Denim Jacket
This jacket reminds me of A.C. Slater in Saved By The Bell, so obviously it’s one of my favorites. I bought this from Forever 21 a while back and boy I’m glad I invested the $25. I have a few denim jackets and this has stood the test of time. I love the acid wash style and the fit of this one!
Checkered Black & White Button Up
This is my favorite go-to for casual outfits. Wrap a cute button up around your waist to add a little pop to your outfit. I went through a phase where I bought SO MANY button ups. Yes, most of them are from Abercrombie. I’m glad I didn’t donate them all because I’ve been using the heck out of them for outfit flares!
Tan Aldo Heels
There’s nothing like a basic tan stiletto heel. Don’t have a pair? Invest in one! I love Aldo shoes because they’re traditionally pretty comfortable. I’ve had these ones for quite some time and they’ve held up really well.
Accessories
Hoops, because hoops are always the standard. But, make sure the pair you pick out are light weight! This is crucial to avoid headaches.
Zoe Chicco gold bar necklace. This is a frequent repeat as well. I love the lariat style of this necklace. I wear a lot of V-necks and this shape of necklace is always flattering to go along with it.
