Recent Sephora Selections

It’s been a minute since I did a beauty post! I recently went on a shopping spree at Sephora (true definition of retail therapy!!) I wanted to share all of my favorites with you all. Let me start by saying that none of these products are sponsored or being offered to me for free to speak of them, I truly love these and want to share the details with you all!

Skincare - Drunk Elephant

I recently listed to a podcast with the creator of Drunk Elephant. Let me start by saying, I’m so obsessed with this skincare line but also it was super interesting to listen to her take on skincare. I have a hard time spending kajillion of dollars on my skincare, but it’s honestly something we should all invest in. How much better would you feel if you took that $4/day Starbucks drink and put it into a $60 cream that lasts over a month?? If you’ve struggled before to find a good line that works for your skin check out Drunk Elephant. It’s amazing for many more reasons than I could ever list in one blog post. My new favorite is the peptide cream.

Night Oil

There are a few things I have no problem spending $$ on. Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil is one of them. Yes, it’s expensive but I swear it does wonders for your skin! “Luna works throughout the night to deliver visibly youthful, luminous, even-toned skin by morning. Trans-Retinol ester reduces the appearance of pores and wrinkles, while visibly improving the signs of premature aging: fine lines, uneven texture, age spots, dryness, and dullness.”

Mascara & Eyeliner

I was such a fan of the Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced, until I tried their new version, Damn Girl. Okay seriously buy this. Trust me!! I’ve had so many people ask if I had fake eyelashes on when wearing this. (Including my own boyfriend). I also tried their Better Than Sex eyeliner which is so smooth and easy to put on. Highly recommend this if you like liquid eyeliner. Both are tagged below!

CC Cream

Being on camera a lot I want to make sure I have coverage without looking cakey. I’ve tried SO many different foundations, tinted moisturizers, bb creams, cc creams you name it, I’ve tried it. When I found the IT cosmetics line, I was in love. Everyone I’ve ever told about this cream has raved about their own experience too! They recently came out with a TON of extra colors too!! I use Neutral Medium. I also recommend using a beauty blender to apply this, number one it provides a smoother application but also helps avoid getting your fingers/bacteria all over your face. Both are tagged below!

Bronzer

I love the Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer from Tarte (Tagged below). I apply it over my cc cream for a nice pop on my cheekbones.

Huda Lip Gloss

I used to be obsessed with a lip gloss from Too Faced until they discontinued it. I was crushed!! So, for the past year I’ve been struggling to find a good replacement. I think I may have finally found it!! This Huda Beauty lipgloss is not at all what it looks. In the tube it’s an iridescent white color, but on the lips it has a pretty light pink color. I wore it during this photo shoot, and loved it!! The color is called Enchanting, shop it below!

Hair Goodies

I recently took all of my extensions out (cue crying emoji). I’ve actually really enjoyed the light weight feel and ease of shorter hair, as much as I miss my extensions. Anyone who knows me, is familiar that I hate washing my hair. It takes FOREVER to do. I was skeptical of this Jump Start Quick Blow Dry Serem from Drybar but it is LIFE CHANGING. I swear it really sped up my blow-drying time to under 10 minutes.

As a side note I recently invested in the Dyson blow dryer, yes it’s expensive, and yes it’s worth it!

And for when you just can’t wash your hair, I recommend their dry shampoo.

In combination with the above products, I have been trying to take a daily dose of collagen as well. I love the Vital Proteins line. I currently use their Collagen Peptides every morning with my coffee, but I saw this sample pack when I was walking out of Sephora and wanted to give it a go.
