Holiday Gift Guide - Beauty Edition

Let the holidays begin!! Can you believe it’s that time?! I created a gift guide for the beauty lover. It can be tricky to find amazing beauty gifts without spending a small fortune. This gift guide has a little bit of both. A few splurges (that are totally worth it, by the way) and a few reasonably priced beauty gifts!

Jump Start Quick Dry

This stuff works! I know it’s always risky buying a product like this without knowing if it’s a gimmick or not but trust me this is worth your pennies!! Coming from a girl who grew up with an afro (yes there is photo evidence) my hair is hard to tame. I hate washing it purely based on the fact of how long it takes to blow dry. This product combined with the dryer below has cut it down to a solid 15 minutes!!

Dyson Dryer

Yes this is the splurge, but your wifey/girlfriend/best friend will LOVE you for this gift!! The sonic dryer does WORK and is also worth every penny. Combined with the quick dry serum above it’ll cut down drying time and it’s also not as tough on your hair as some of the other dryers out on the market.

Drunk Elephant Minis

Anything Drunk Elephant is worthy of being on a gift guide. I recently invested a LOT of moolah into this line. I recognize not everybody wants to spend their money on a skincare line without knowing how your skin will react to it. That’s why this mini set is perfect!! You can try everything in the line and figure out what you love most!

Damn Girl! Mascara

Mascara lovers unite! I love the Too Faced line of mascara. I was a sucker for the Better Than Sex mascara forever until they introduced this new line. Highly recommend this for a stocking stuffer!

Dr. Teals Epsom Salt

This is a great gift for the budget conscious buyer. I’m a huge bath fan and this epsom salt is the best of the best. They come in a few different scents, the lavender one is my personal favorite. Plus this set on Amazon comes with a bubble bath for under $20!

Charlotte Tilbury Perfume

I know perfume scents can be very personal but I get a ton of compliments on this scent so I thought I’d include it in the gift guide. Perfume is an age old classic gift for the holidays. Just save your receipts so that your loved one can exchange it if the scent is perfect for them!

Dr. Jart + Rubber Masks

My dear friend Amanda turned me onto Dr. Jart+ products and I haven’t looked back since. There are a TON of masks out on the market today. These rubber masks leave my skin feeling better than ever!

Eyelashes

I used to be obsessed with my eyelash extensions until one sad day where I became allergic to the glue. I haven’t been able to get eyelash extensions for a few years now so I like to invest in some good false lashes. I wear them on camera for games but also they’re fun to throw on for a night out, or maybe even a night in…treat yo self.

Blender Set

The packaging got me on this one. It’s shaped like a diamond for goodness sake! I love beauty blenders they do such a great job applying liquid makeup (I use a CC cream daily). This little Crown Jewels gift set is a perfect little gift to wrap up for the beauty lover!

De-Puffing Jade Roller

I listen to the Skinny Confidential Podcast constantly, and Lauren (creator of TSC) talks a lot about lymphatic massages. I wish I could afford those type of facials but for now I’ll stick to this De-Puffing Roller, it does the trick!

Scrunchies

Last but not least, girls gotta have scrunchies in her life!! These Free People scrunchies are my favorite because they have a little bow detail on them. Plus they do 3 for $12 which makes the perfect budget friendly stocking stuffer for any girl needing to hold that hair back.

Stay tuned for more gift guides coming soon!!
