Game Night Outfit - Avs v. Devils - 12/13/19
It’s Friday the 13th and we’re playing the New Jersey Devils…yikes. Luckily for us, our team is the Colorado Avalanche..and we’re awesome. They’ve been pretty amazing to watch this season and we still have so much to go, who else is pumped with this team?! Friday night’s game was outstanding, everything from giving away $500 to each person in a lucky row to a proposal during one of my promo that I host. Not to mention, the ring came from my jewelry store, Hurdle’s Jewelry!!
This was the third game this week after hosting a home game both Monday & Wednesday night. Combining this with the busiest two weeks of retail for our small business and well…needless to say, I’m feeling a little out of control. This outfit was all about going back to basics.
Custom Avalanche Denim Jacket
My custom Avalanche jacket is one of my favorite things ever. I really wanted to wear this during the season but was struggling to find a good game where it’d get some love. I ordered this at the end of last season for playoffs from MB Jackets (Madeline Brooks) She’s fabulous…just saying. Check out her website and instagram for more styles from her.
This style of denim jacket is a Levi’s ex-boyfriend jacket. You cannot have enough denim jackets, I think I have 8 in my closet currently…I’m not ashamed. I’ve tagged the Levi’s ex-boyfriend jacket below! For reference, I’m wearing a size small.
Spanx Quilted Leggings
I got new Spanx leggings!! These are the quilted style that they recently introduced and I LOVE them!! I ordered them with their Black Friday sale and I honestly should have purchased two pairs.
Heels x Boots
When I shot my photos for this Game Night Outfit, I was planning to wear my red heels that I love so much. Except when it came time to wear this GNO, we were playing the Devils, and I didn’t dare wear red! So I switched it up and wore my lace up Timberland style heeled boots. I’ve tagged both the heels & boots below since I’ve got photos in both!
Jewels
Well I’d be remiss to not talk about the fabulous engagement ring presented to one of my contestants during our UC Health Bike Race. It is a stunning diamond engagement ring from Parade Designs which came from Hurdle’s Jewelry in Boulder. I’m fourth generation there and take SOO much pride in the legacy we’ve built in Boulder. Hurdle’s Jewelry is the oldest store on the Pearl Street Mall. If you’re ever up in the area please swing by to say hi! We’ll clean and check your jewels at no charge!
As a side note, I was also rocking my usual hoops and watch (tagged below), plus a new design we just got in at Hurdle’s Jewelry from Jennie Kwon featuring a black diamond center and black diamond details weaved into the chain. I’m in love with EVERYTHING from Jennie Kwon. Come by the store to check out her collection!
As always, GO AVS GO!!
