I’ve really gotten into the habit of wearing white, black and grey. Nothing wrong with it, but I should try to expand the wardrobe options a little. On the flip side, there’s nothing better than a solid black outfit.
Spanx Leggings
Yes they’re a little pricey for leggings, but I swear you will NOT regret this purchase!! I love these black moto leggings so much. I have the plain leather ones as well but the moto ones give nice definition and seem to be flattering on everyone I’ve ever seen wearing them! Shop the exact leggings below!!
Black Chiffon Top
Have you heard of the brand Naked Zebra? They have super cute blouses in different colors. You can find them at Denver boutiques like Hailee Grace & Inspyre. I found this black V neck style from none other than the clearance rack at TJ Maxx. Every now and then you’ll score a gem there but you have to be willing to dig a little.
Black Blazer
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is nothing like a shoulder pad-less blazer. I hate feeling too bulky when layering. For whatever reason on my body type, the shoulder pads in blazers are not flattering. I found this cutie at an old Cherry Creek store called Love Culture. They aren’t there anymore, but you can still shop their stuff online! The store was super similar to Forever 21, I think this blazer was in the $15 price range. I’ve gotten so much use out of it, I wish I would’ve bought 5!
Paint Splatter Denim Pumps
Well you know me, I have to jazz up the all black outfit somewhere! Some fun heels are the perfect balance to this monotone outfit. I’ve had these pumps for some time, they are not the most comfortable but they look super cute. Beauty is pain right?! A fun pair of heels is totally worth it, as long as you don’t have to do an immense amount of walking. Keep that in mind when picking your night out outfits!
