Game Night Outfit Round Up - Preseason Edition
Preseason Game 1 - Wild v. Avs
It’s been super warm in Colorado lately which doesn’t necessarily translate to hockey season in my brain. I wanted to kick off our preseason with a dress that kept me warm inside but could still be worn in the 80 degree heat outside. I found this pink sweater dress that was perfect for that in between feel.
I added a pair of slouchy over the knee stiletto boots since I was getting back in the swing of the cold arena. These are such a perfect go-to option for fall and winter!
Preseason Game 2 - Golden Knights v. Avs
Feeling all the Fall vibes with this one. Flannels are literally my favorite Fall outfit. It takes quite a bit of self control to keep myself from buying every single one I see for sale! This one was super cheap from Forever 21 but has a nice thick material.
The black tank underneath was a basic cami linked below. I paired that with a simple black skirt. Since the flannel was a little more loud in color and size, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit on the simple side.
The studded wedges I wore have been a favorite all summer long. They truly go with everything. They may not be as applicable heading into the colder months, but I’d recommend snagging a pair for next season before they sell out.
Preseason Game 3 - Dallas v. Avs
Sticking with the Fall theme. Preseason game 3 was our final preseason game before the regular season begins next week. This wrap skirt is the softest material ever and it’s under $15!! Perfect for a Fall date night outfit!
With this style of wrap skirt, I wanted to keep the top simple and fitted. This black v-neck pocket top is from Z Supply and I highly recommend grabbing one in a ton of different colors! They make these in long sleeve, short sleeve and tank. Yes, I have all three and recommend you do too!
The boots were the same as Preseason Game 1 . They’re pretty versatile, if you don’t have a pair of Fall boots, I’d look to a black or tan pair like this.
Bonus: Avs Kickoff Party
During the week between Preseason Game 2 and Preseason Game 3, the Avalanche hosted a season kickoff party at Number 38 in Rino. My handsome boyfriend was attending the event, so I wanted to look extra cute!! Knowing that it was a fun evening event and the weather was beautiful, I wanted to wear a new pair of leather shorts I just snagged at Forever 21.
These shorts are under $15!! Click the link below to shop.
Since the shorts were high waisted, I wanted to pair it with a fitted top and a blazer to jazz up the outfit. The pop of color came from the red heels, so I stuck with black on the rest of the outfit. I like to keep my outfits with one or two pops of color/design (just like the flannel outfit above). Play around with colors and looks, sometimes just one pop is all you need!
