Such an unexpected and fun day filling in at the Colorado Avalanche game as the emcee. As many of you know, I officially retired at the end of last season. On Saturday morning, Jan 28th, I was admittedly cleaning out the junk drawer in my house when I got a call from one of the Avalanche game directors. Just like that I was figuring out what on earth I was going to wear for another Game Day Outfit.

Pink Dress

I’ve always been a big fan of hot pink and my return to the arena felt in need of a color pop. I knew i couldn’t wear anything blue (we were playing the Blues duh) so I went tried and true with a hot pink dress. The dresses below are similar, not exact but give you the inspo.

Black Leather Jacket

I’ve written about this before, the key to a great black leather jacket is the lack of bulk and the way it sits with the outfit. I have a few leather jackets that are cute but way too bulky. They’re more of a jacket to wear out to dinner and then take off once you’re at the restaurant. That’s not what I needed with this Game Day Outfit, I needed something that was going to remain on and part of my outfit. I bought mine from H&M years ago but found a few that would have the same fit as my favorite black leather jacket.

Studded Heels

I have worn these suckers into the ground, they’re my favorite fancy shoes. Valentino look-a-likes from DSW. Trust me, you can’t go wrong with them!

Jewels

Always an important part of my outfit selections. My favorite part of any outfit, the jewels…I have a few staples that are always on, and then a few that I typically put on based on the outfit. I just installed 3 permanent 14k yellow gold bracelets on my arm (service coming soon to Hurdle’s Jewelry!!) Shop the rest of my favorites below.
