Polka Dots & Denim

As I mentioned before, finding a good outfit for crazy summer day can be tricky. I love pairing a long sleeve top with shorts (or vise versa pants with a tank) for the summer. As long as the temperature isn't blazing hot, this is a great option for any outing.

I paired a lightweight black button up with white polka dots along side of my distressed denim shorts. The key to finding good distressed denim shorts is a combination of the wash along with the fit on your own body. I'm not a huge fan of high waisted jeans since I'm only 5'2'' so I always go for a low rise option like these.
