Game Night Outfit - Avs v. Blues - 1/2/20 — Rosé, Rocks & Retail Therapy

What a whirlwind of a game!! I love when we beat division rival teams!! I talked about that a few blog posts ago, the intensity is always so much higher during these games.

For this Game Night Outfit I went with a tried and true classic. The all black look with a pop of color is one of my favorites. This time the pop of color came from my hat (more details below!). Black Sweater

I love a good off-the-shoulder sweater. This one was a pretty basic style with baggy fabric around the midsection and arms. I tagged the one I wore first then a few additional styles below that were comparable and cute! And FYI…it’s under $20!

Black Skirt

I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of skirts. They don’t tend to fit my body type very well. With the top fitting down to my waist and covering the top portion of the skirt, it blended the look a little better. This is a great way to make your outfit look like a full dress especially in the same color scheme.

OTK Boots

These boots are new from JustFab and they are so stinking cute! I love the buckle detail along with the gold hardware. This style of boot with a taller front than back in the knee section is a little new for me, I think i prefer boots that are the same all the way around but it’s nice to change it up from time to time.

They also offer these boots in burgundy and navy blue, chances are those colors will find their way into my closet too!

Accessories

Leave it to Free People to come out with the cutest accessories like this hat. I love a flat brim hat, although many of them do not fit my head well. As soon as I found this winner I bought it in a few different colors. Victoria Beckham taught me that in her fashion book. If you find something that works for you, stock up!

Jewels

I took off for Vegas immediately after the game so I wanted to keep all my basics on to travel with. Since I had an off-the-shoulder neckline, I went with my initial choker as my necklace selection. I had my gold hoops in and my watch on, just to remind myself how close I was cutting it to making my flight…oops.
