Game Night Outfit - NYE - 12/31/19
It’s been a busy start to the year! But here we are finally getting the details out to the world! Hoping everyone had a fabulous New Years Eve and a great start to the new year! If you haven’t don’t worry, we’ve got a lot of time ahead to turn things around.
NYE
I haven’t worked a New Years Eve game in years, I was so excited to finally experience the after-game indoor fireworks show!! More on that later. Let’s get to the outfit details!
Sequin Dress
This wrap sequin dress felt like a robe, it was sooooo comfy cozy. Time to be straight up, I’ve gained a little weight the past month or so, blame it on the holidays or whatever, it’s just the way it is. I haven’t felt super confident lately and I knew a skin tight dress wasn't going to make me feel too good on NYE. This was a perfect solution to still feel good and festive. I found this one on Vici dolls, which has since sold out on the site.
Sparkle Heel Wedges
When else can I find an excuse to wear ridiculous disco ball wedge heels?? I was so excited to get these babies out into the world. They’re a little hard on my foot so I put some gel ball of foot insoles which also helps from my feet slipping around. I love these and you can peel them out and put them into other shoes too! Highly recommend, I tagged them below.
Jewels
I’ve got all the regulars in play to ring in the new year! My new “A” choker from Evereve paired with my Zoe Chicco “Y” necklace. My big gold hoop earrings were obvioulsy the go-to for earrings and I had my slim Cartier watch on to make sure I stayed on time to get up to Boulder post-game!
My NYE
Following the game, the Avs put on a post-game indoor fireworks show which was so freaking awesome!! It was even cooler than I expected it to be!! Following the show I headed home to freshen up and uber’d into Boulder to meet my honey at his work. I arrived around 11:15ish which game me sufficient time to enjoy an espresso martini (these are my favorite, mostly because I get tired at 9pm and knew I’d have to be up much later!)
We rang in the new year with a fabulous toast and went to meet our friends. Fast forward a few hours of fun and we found ourselves at home eating digornio pizza. By 4am, we were both ready to hit the hay. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t remember the last time I saw 4am, and I’m certainly don’t want to anytime soon again. It was 1000% worth the tiredness though!
Hope everyone else had a fun and safe NYE! Follow me on Instagram and share your NYE experiences with me!!
