Game Night Outfit - Avs v. Islanders - 2.19.20
Happy Tuesday everyone!! Last Wednesday’s late game featured Led Zeppelin Night at Pepsi Center. I’m gonna be honest with you. I’m not a Led Zeppelin fan, and by saying that I don’t mean that I don’t like them, I’m just not very familiar with them. Hang on a tick before you start judging me….I recognize their songs but it’s not like I hear their music and I’m like “Oh, Led Zeppelin….turn it up!” Ugh I bet I just lost some readers on this one, but I’d rather be honest with you all! I’ll tell you what I am a big fan of…vintage band graphic tees. Again, I’m just being honest with y’all!
Graphic Tee Business
So let’s get to the business. Whether you’re a Led Zeppelin fan or not, I feel like we can all appreciate a good vintage graphic tee. No one does it better than Day Dreamer Clothing. I almost went with the gray shirt but ended up in white. What’s your favorite color option?
Leather Skirt
I’m all about a tee with some distressed jeans for comfy, cozy style. Unfortunately that’d be a little dressed down for my game outfit preferences. Instead I paired the graphic tee with a quilted leather skirt. I feel like there are a few staples that I discuss over and over again, this is one of them. I think it’s crucial to have some basics in the closet that can span a ton of different styles. Leather jackets & skirts fill so many voids!
Red Heels
I love when a pop of colorful heels can bring out a small detail from your outfit. With such a colorful graphic tee, I wanted to find one of the colors within the print and accentuate it in the heels. I had a pair of hot pink heels, but I’ve been wearing those a lot lately so I went with the orangey-red instead.
Jewels
With a high neck, I figured necklaces were out so I made sure the hoops were in. My gold hoops are the go-to always. Since I was sticking with the usuals up top, I changed up my bracelet/watch decor. I just received my new MVMT watch in with a white marble dial. I’m obsessed with ANYTHING white marble, plus you add the rose gold accents in…done and done. I paired it with their silver & rose gold tone cross over cuff.
