Game Night Outfit - Avs v. Ducks - 3/4/20
Wednesday’s game was Pride Night for the Avs and I absolutely loved every minute of it…except the last second when we lost in OT, but every other minute was amazing!
I felt so unbelievably grateful that our Avs reporter Rachel Richlinsky chose to feature me on one of her New Girl stories that she’s been featuring this season. It aired last night and was so amazing! I feel like I have so many fun and wonderful aspects about my life and love that I had the opportunity to share my story with the Avs faithful!
Side note: Shout out to Ben who was one of the contestants during last night’s Ball Race to Recycle promo. He mentioned that he reads my blog and I felt SO grateful when he mentioned that! What a sweet human and I really appreciate everyone who takes time out of their day to read these posts!
Now onto my Game Night Outfit details.
I’ve been loving these theme nights recently! This one is by far my favorite. I went really basic because I wanted to highlight the heels and hat accents.
Basic White Tee
I recently received some shirts from American Giant in the mail, I honestly thought they were going to be a great fit for Tre but I tried on the Ex-Boyfriend White Tee and fell in love with it! It’s also under $35! I’ve been really trying to channel my inner Kristin Cavallari as of late, and I feel like this is totally a style of tee she’d wear. Super basic, but you can’t go wrong with a white tee.
Spanx
For all my ladies out there reading this, invest in a pair of Spanx leggings. If leggings are your thing, trust me these are going to blow your mind. I literally live in mine. The moto ones I’m wearing here are my absolute favorite but the basic faux leather & quilted ones are amazing too.
Acid Wash Denim Jacket
I am craving a 90s night where I can rock some acid wash denim and channel A.C. Slater/Zack Morris. I have so many denim jackets in different styles, I love the acid wash design. I almost bought another one from Evereve last weekend (I still may…that would be my 10th denim jacket in the wardrobe…don’t judge me!)
Hat & Heels
I love a good rainbow accent and honestly wish I had more rainbow colors in my outfit Wednesday night. The heels are an Amazon specialty. I love that they’re cheap and still have the studded design accent along with the bright coloring. They don’t have this exact style anymore but I tagged a few similar few designs below.
The hat was designed by Zephyr and they have such a great variety of Avs gear. Check out their selection in the team store! They recently sent me a few custom hats and I’m so excited to show those off! The specialty Pride hat was by far my favorite aspect of the outfit from Wednesday Night.
Jewels
Just like the rest of the outfit, i stuck with the basics. Considering you couldn’t really see any necklaces with a high neck, I kept my every day gold necklaces underneath the neckline. My favorites that I always have on are tagged below (FYI Don’t wear your necklaces to bed!!! We toss and turn so much in our sleep and put a ton of pressure on those delicate little chains. If you don’t want to spend the $ to fix them, take them off before bed!!) I also had my thin gold hoops and Jennie Kwon rings on as I always do!
Thank you so much again to Rachel & the Avs organization. I’m so grateful for my role within the organization and love that I get to share my life with you all!! Happy Saturday everyone!
