Sephora Sale Picks
It’s Spring time which means it’s time for a HUGE Sephora sale!! If you don’t normally shop at Sephora, you can sign up to be a Beauty Insider completely free and automatically receive 10% off! I personally use all of these on a daily or almost daily basis! I could put a million products down but I’ve narrowed it down to some of my favorites below.
Side note…most of these were introduced to me by my skin guru and bestie Amanda. She is such a genius when it comes to Sephora and all their products. Everyone should have an Amanda in their life, I’m super lucky to have her in mine!!
IT Cosmetics CC Cream
Real talk, this cream is magic. First and foremost it has amazing SPF protection and it also has such beautiful coverage. It’s lightweight but very covering. You need very little of this product for it to go miles! I’ve had a few friends try this brand too and never heard anything negative!
Drunk Elephant
Protini Polypeptide Cream
Rich, luxurious, moisturizing. Those would be the three words I’d use to describe this cream. A little goes a long way and it feels SO good on your skin!
T.L.C. Babyfacial
I’ve been using this product one to two times per week. You definitely have to ease into it but it makes my skin feel so clean and tight! It absolutely feels like you just went to the spa for a facial. It burns a little when putting it on, but only for a second (I think it feels kind of good!) This is one of the best products from Drunk Elephant in my opinion!
A-Passioni Retinol Cream
I use this very sparingly but it’s magical for your skin. I once listened to a podcast about skincare on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off-The-Vine podcast. The specialist emphasized the importance of involving a retinol cream into your routine. I never double up this on top of the babyfacial but I’ll use them on opposite nights. I generally mix this with a hydration serum at night.
Dyson Hair Dryer
It’s expensive, but honestly worth every single penny! I had an afro when I was a toddler, needless to say I’ve had extremely thick, tangled hair my whole life. This dryer cuts down my drying time immensely. Plain and simple, it works!
Jump Start Blow Dry Serum
Time is of the essence. I invested in the above Dyson hair dryer but I also invested in this serum from the Dry Bar and it works! Plus it protects my hair and has a delicious smell to it! Between the two my blow-drying time is down to 20 minutes or less!
IGK Dry Shampoo
Sticking with the hair theme here. I hate washing my hair. The above items make it a lot easier but I still would rather not. With that being said, I’m pretty sure I’ve tried every dry shampoo under the sun. This one is by far my favorite. It’s a charcoal based detoxifying dry shampoo that actually works long term. I feel like a lot of dry shampoos end up making my hair more greasy or producty (if that’s a word) in the end but not this one!
Stila Eyeliner
Liquid
I love Stila liquid eyeliner for the top of my eye. Normally I put it on before applying eyeshadow then touch it up with a little tiny bit after eyeshadow is applied if I feel like I need to darken the look or wing the edge of the eye a little.
Smudge Stick
I carry this guy with me at all times. He’s perfect for EVERYTHING. It’s a gelly material so it goes on really easily on the under side of my eye. I also put it underneath my lashes on the top of my eyelid too. This takes a little practice so be careful!
Tarte Palette & Bronzer
Tartelette
This palette is my go-to for all of my Avalanche game night make up. It has all the basic colors in a brown tone. Tarte has a few other palettes too. This particular one is my favorite but I’ve never been disappointed with any of their palettes!
Bronzer
I love a good bronzer, always have, always will. I’ve tried a lot throughout the years and this one has been my favorite. It has a little bit of gold shine to it but nothing too overwhelming. I’m sure the overall coloring is a personal preference based on your skin tone but I’ve truly never been happier with a bronzer before! I’m already on my second container this year!
Duo Eyelash Glue
If you wear fake lashes..this glue is a must. First off, the Duo glue is one of the only ones that doesn’t irritate my eyes when I use it. Second they offer it in a black glue (this is the one I tagged) which goes on black and dries black too so that the lashes seem a lot more seamless on your eyes.
Sunday Riley Luna
This is definitely a splurge but so worth it. I learned about this product years ago (probably from Amanda…let’s be real!) It comes out blue on your face and it’s so luxurious. It’s a retinol oil which helps promote skin elasticity, smooth out your fine lines and stimulate surface exfoliation. It basically does the job of a retinol cream without the normal irritation. So of course it’s a little pricey, but truly, truly worth it.
Huda Beauty Lip Gloss
One of my all time favorite lip glosses was discontinued about a year ago and I’ve struggled to find another that I love as much. This Huda Beauty lip gloss has the color and shine I love! Light and airy. The color I love is called “Enchanting” it will throw you off in the tube but it comes out beautifully!
Supergoop Sunscreen
This was originally introduced to me as a sample from Sephora with another order I placed. It has a similar texture to vaseline which sounds gross but it’s so lightweight and really helps to protect your skin from the sun. If you’re not using an SPF, make sure you pick one up!! It’s step one in protecting your skin!! I’ve tried a lot of sunscreens in the past and found that most of them feel dewy or heavy. This is extremely lightweight and perfect for underneath makeup.
Damn Girl Mascara
Last but absolutely not least is the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. Let me start by saying that I am obsessed with fake lashes. I had the extensions on for a long time and eventually developed an allergy to the glue (sad day). I normally use the glue on fake lashes but sometimes it’s nice to give your eyeballs a break. Also, it’s probably not always necessary to do fake lashes for a grocery store trip….or is it? Anyway, I’ve tried a million and one mascaras and nothing compares to this one. Even the Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced doesn’t stand up to this one. Invest in it, you won’t be sorry!!
I could seriously go on for hours and hours when it comes to Sephora shopping. I dream of a day with no timeline where I can roam the aisles of Sephora trying on samples and looking at all the packaging. It’s a truly magical place. This sale is so epic, I always stock up and I’m so grateful that you’re reading this to hear my favorites! Keep me in the loop on the products you try too, I would love to hear reviews and your thoughts on what you purchase!
